In "Boobytrap" the narrator says, "The craft measured nearly three quarters of a mile in length.".
 Was that 3/4 mile the actual length of the craft or the portion of the craft still intact?

If we're going to speculate I'd say it was slightly more than 3/4 of a mile because the front of the guns are cut off. They didn't know much about it. When they rebuilt it they probably made it bigger than it originally was making it maybe a little under a mile instead of all compact like the original builders.
