I've been working on this project for a few weeks and figured some of you guys here might be interested. It all started with some ideas that got thrown
around on the RobotechX forums not to long ago and I guess I'm the furthest along so far. I really just wanted to make the CVR-3 costume for my son to
wear at Wonder Con next year but looks like I might make the Halloween deadline.
The armor is made from foam rubber and glued together with silicon caulk. The helmet shell was made from vacuum-form plastic over a scateboard helmet and then foam rubber glued to that. I'll have to do the Gallant pistol in styrafoam since I'm running up against my deadline. I plan on finishing the leg pieces this week and painting everything with liquid latex and paint this weekend.
