Aww crap, what has happen to RDF-HQers eh? Slowly this site is dying a slow death that even befallen the RT.com or signalling the dearth of true blue RT fans that do not necessarily transmit pro-HG fanboy?
I mean, even a pro-HG site like RTX.com have more hits than RDF-HQ in its heydays.
I hope Basara & Cav Scout can take notice & start to revamp RDF-HQ with cleaning the house & well, make it available to both pro-HG, anti-HG or even Macross Purist to hang out more often here.
Having Macross vs RT debates certainly far more entertaining then the once a while in a blue moon regarding a single post over RTSR or RT:LAM.
Perhaps RDF-HQ always worked on principle that quality posts is better than quantity .... but now RDF-HQ lacked both.
Basara, Cavscout, can you guys start to reintegrate RDF-HQ with fansites like THE ROBOTECH PAGE (ctc Macross the webmaster; asked him either to update or the RDF-HQers can continue his site with updates & revamps), RT RESEARCH.com (for RPG enthusiasts), & a number of RT fan podcast like the fairly unbiased The Protoculture Times.
Its high time for us to introduce new blood to RDF-HQ. Potential recruitment pool; RT.com, Palladium Megaverse RT subforum, RTX.com (let's poach more level headed RT fans there), heck, even Macrossworld seems a nice catch.
BTW, RTX.com under Memo tutelage is working on its new uRRG type of project. But I say, as a successor to RT Mailing List, RDF-HQ should paved the way! One more thing, if current msg board format for RDF-HQ can no longer be sustained, I'd certainly preferred RDF-HQ reincarnated as a blog dedicated for all things Robotech. Besides, with RT.com practically banning members left & right, we should take these advantage by scooping 'em disgruntled RT fanboys to our advantage.
If not, well, there's always the adage of 'if yer can't fight 'em, join 'em!". The only viable RT forum nowadays seems RTX.com, but its pro-HG. Fortunately, the site Admin claims that it is for RT fans by RT fans, despite their pro-HG clout, they actually keeps their words.
Maybe yer guys could workaut a deal with RTX.com & let us usurp 'em there, bringing fairly more balanced views to RTX.com fandom.
Although it is far more viable to revamp RDF-HQ for all its worth.
