Anyone found a sub of Macross Frontier 17 yet? |

Normally, on Veoh, subs (often 4 or 5 within a 2-4 hour period) will show up 24-36 hours after airing in Japan. It's now past 72 hours, and no sub yet.

I've only seen one sub in a torrent search as well. Seems slow coming out all over.

It would appear from the comments made to the one subbed version (which has atrocious sub lettering choices) that the usual source for the subs that most of
the veoh posters use didn't do episode #17. Whether this is a one-time thing or they've stopped handling the series, I don't know. I hope it's
not the latter.
I wonder if muyasuki (who had their account removed from Veoh) is still doing their subs online, somewhere. After all, it was apparent from tehir postings that they were doing it personally, not reposting someone else's sub work. We might want to check and see if there is a source for their subs, if they continued after leaving Veoh, even if it means having to wait several weeks for subs. I found one but the subtitles mix with the song text and is confusing and difficult if not outright impossible to read.

Yeah, it was in the original posting of that one that I found the comment that the normal subber people post to veoh skipped the episode.
ZOMG! then had to find a copy of someone else's sub of it, then convert it from .MKV (a format Veoh doesn't support), the conversion probably being the source of the big subs. They posted it Sunday, then that person's account got deleted due to other licensed stuff on it, and someone else posted copies of that conversion on Monday. Oh, BTW - if you can handle reading what appears to be Spanish subs, there's a new sub up (not labeled as such) as of about an hour ago. Finally, a good sub - and they translated the music too. I wonder if this person's done any of the other episodes?
