It won't happen until at least December, cause I'm still recovering from one of my colds (the ones that, ever since the army nearly killed me with an "influenza" vaccine in 1988, typically have 2-4 weeks of bronchitis or mucous hanging on after the rest of the symptoms go away). At least, having spent most of the last 10 days in bed, I finally got around to typing almost two chapters of my fanfic.

Found this. You still need it for your archiving? I have to update mine. I'm actually going through my WinAmp and changing the dates of soundtracks from when the CD was made to when the show itself was made, which is a more honest way of reference.

I can see what I can arrange, but money's bit tight. I'll try to bug my friends about a possible trip south (most haven't been to the stores in Knoxville before, and one of them can only find regularly t-shirts in his size, in the the Sevier co. tourist traps.

1/72 or 1/144 would probably be best, given that would put it (in its largest modes) around 12-15 inches or 6-8 inches tall, respectively.

If any part of the design is tweaked, I'd prefer it to be the legs. The curve in those Breaux-drawn legs just weirds me out, and I'd intended for the original design for the body to rotate 180 degrees in transformation (which is something IIRC the VHT does) to Battloid, to make the knees (reverse articulated in...

It's "Cthulhu Fthagn", by Tom Smith & Luke Ski.

Tom is the more famous of the duo, in Science Fiction "filk" circles, and was on his album first.

Only in truly extraordinary times do bad general economics mean bad times for the movies. People can't afford to travel and take vacations so they go to a movie or three instead. (The movies with the most ticket sales/screens in the record books were movies of the 1930s, when they were the cheapest entertainment in town.) BTW, the way profit margins are, most theaters consider themselves popcorn stands that just happen to show movies. NPR just did a program on All Things...

On the subject of Macross F soundtrack disks: so far only YesAsia.com is offering them on this side of the Pacific. Only the first one (Musume Frontier/"Daughter of the Frontier") is available from them. The second one (Interstellar Flight) is a "single" with four songs on it, including Ranka versions of "Oboeteimasuka" and "My Boyfriend is a Pilot"; it just came out a few days ago. I guess you could skip that one till a more complete...

Hey.

I got back to Miss Ruby's okay. Tried out one of the disks you loaned me on my Emerson combo player/TV and it runs. The audio warbles a bit tho'. Very pronounced. Only saw a few minutes of it tonight, will see more tomorrow.
