And, it settles a few of the long-running Robotech arguments in doing so...

(note that I was typing this free-form - I sometimes use Inbit/Invid interchangably, and different spellings for names)

1. Yes, the Blue-eyed Eager becomes the blue-eyed Gurab, which becomes the blue-eyed Gamo, which in turn becomes Batra/Corg. It can be inferred that the only other Gamo we see (the one in the Sandstorm episode) early on becomes (Solzie/Sorji)/Sera.

2. Robotech actually gives much more noble motivations for Jonathan & the Rain killer ("Dusty" in Robotech). In Mospeada, Jonathan was just a burnout, and the cyborg had been deluded by the Invid into believing that if he killed 100 soldiers (he hit 90 before that final fight), that they would restore the other half of his body. In Robotech, of course, Wolfe was sacrificing a few, to keep the town alive, and Dusty was killing those that had gave him to the Invid to experiment on, in exchange for their survival.

3....

difference would really make in the position of planets regarding when the SDF1 launched. My assumption was the outer planets have such long orbits that, in
context with the story, the date shifting would have little real impact. NASA's JPL has a neat

Due to a combination of sleep deprivation and watching a combination of several animes in quick succession, I had a few ideas I wanted to throw passed you
guys.

First off, I was watching Macross Frontier and I got to thinking that the Ex-Gear flight suits are in many ways the same sort of device as a cyclone except
that they lack their own dedicated vehicle mode. The principle is the same, a survival mecha suit to aid in combat operations and escaping a downed fighter.
From this I got the random image in my head of a Cyclone with the wing pack off an Ex-Gear strapped onto the back (replacing the back end of the seat in cycle
mode, folded up). It strikes me that such a mecha could be possible and even desirable within the confines of the Sentinel and Invid wars. There is also some
precedence in the form of the Praxian Chariot/horse mecha.

The next one I started to ponder over would be the future VHT-3. A variable hovertank which would mount a syncro cannon like...

Somethings been bugging me this morning. Official RT.com stuff and a few other sources keep referring to the fleet wiped out in "The Invid Invasion"
collectively as the 21st Mars Division. Except I don't think that's right. Scott's with the 21st Squadron certainly, but we see other carriers
listed with other numbers, denoting them as belonging to a different squad/division that Scott. Describing that whole huge force as a division seems entirely
wrong to me.

It strikes me that, given Scott launched off a Horizont, the other members of his squadron did as well, and that group of A-B's and Horizonts collectively
are the 21st Squadron/Division, but that we also had ships representing the 162 (Scott's later alpha), the 48th and 46th (Ikazuchis), The 22nd (A Garfish),

I've recently been inspired to dust off my Robotech collection and have a go at some fan fiction perhaps. In the process of reviewing the show, movie, and
other segways (Sentinels video and novels etc), I had a few questions I am hoping you folks can help me with.

Now, I am flexible when it comes to "canon". I can accept the McKinley novelizations as easily as the Academy Comics and so on. TSC is good too for
my purposes, and I am willing to entertain ideas from Battlecry and Invasion too. So feel free to offer differing explanations where applicable, and feel free
to get technical. I don't need on-screen evidence so much as plausibility or precedence.

1) What is the life expectancy of a Zentradi?
1b) Does this expectancy change if they are micronized vs full scale?

2) Outside of Breetai, Exedore, Dana, Maia and Miriya, do we have any examples of Zentradi/descended characters...
