While surfing around, I came across this site for online collaborative art:

http://dreamzone.com/

Basically, it allows multiple people to contribute in building up a drawing, so that everyone can continue adding to it, to make it bigger and better. I think it even has a voting mechanism to allow the group to decide whether to accept or reject different modifications.

I was thinking that this might be an interesting way to do a group collaboration on making some Robotech fanart. What do you all think?

I'm also wondering what other similar sites may exist for online artistic collaboration. Anybody know of any?

I've been working on this project for a few weeks and figured some of you guys here might be interested. It all started with some ideas that got thrown
around on the RobotechX forums not to long ago and I guess I'm the furthest along so far. I really just wanted to make the CVR-3 costume for my son to
wear at Wonder Con next year but looks like I might make the Halloween deadline.

The armor is made from foam rubber and glued together with silicon caulk. The helmet shell was made from vacuum-form plastic over a scateboard helmet and then
foam rubber glued to that. I'll have to do the Gallant pistol in styrafoam since I'm running up against my deadline. I plan on finishing the leg
pieces this week and painting everything with liquid latex and paint this weekend.

Pictures of the costume at this stage and the templates I used are here- <a target="_blank"...

Ok, seems little by little I press forward with my ideas, so here is my latest! The UES Gloval Nimitz style aircraft carrier! As part of my story idea for the
time between Macross and Masters. The carrier is on scale with a USS Nimitz class carrier. Names after Henry Gloval, to honor his memories. Air craft consist
of the Logan series veritech fighter and a compliment of VHT's. Due to the smaller size of the Logan's and VHT's, the carrier should be able to
carry more then 85 total mecha, but I have not determined that yet. The next stage is scaling and modeling the inside. Stay tuned!

Author's notes:

Originally, this was written up as three minimal sections, that let a lot of things uncovered. Now that I'm typing in these stories, I have decided to
opt for a series of interlocking short stories (a couple bordering on novellas), under the umbrella of the "book" name. This will allow me to cover
more characters, add new stories in, and generally rework the entire mess.
